OUR PAST

Our LOVE of boxers began in 1987 when we purchased of our first pet boxer, Kayla, for my husband's birthday.  She was an absolutely fantastic dog.  She was the perfect pet with great energy and unsurpassed loyalty.  Kayla lived a very healthy life and passed away just shy of her 13th birthday.

Soon after acquiring Kayla we purchased our first show dog named "Napoleon", Can. Ch. Empac's Mirage Masquerade who was out of Can. Ch. Mirage's Tribute to Empac and Sired by Am. Ch. Siegel's Sudden Empac.   At the time that we acquired Napoleon, we knew nothing about showing dogs, but we sure learned quickly and after getting his first point at a show in Swift Current, Saskatchewan at the age of 7 months we were hooked.  He earned his Canadian Championship in 4 weekends of showing.  We would like to thank Cheryl Jennings and Dianna Emmons, his breeders, for giving us the opportunity to own such a wonderful dog.  Napoleon passed away 3 months before his 13th birthday.

Due to our busy lifestyle and owning 3 businesses, we got out of the sport of showing dogs for a while.  Our obsession with boxers continued and we knew that some day we would own boxers again.

OUR PRESENT

In 2002, we decided our life with boxers would begin again and started searching throughout North America for the best puppy we could find (we knew what we wanted).  Patience paid off when we found "Lexie" in the late summer of 2003, Ch. Bayview Olympian Kryptonite.  Thank you to Ken & Paula Morrison of Bayview Boxers in California for such a wonderful gift in our lives.

During our search, I discovered that Dianna Emmons of JEMS Boxers out of Washington State was having a litter also.  I contacted her and she told me that her bitch "Alley" was pregnant and due to whelp at the beginning of October 2003.  I was ecstatic knowing that the breeder of our "Napoleon", who we loved so much, was still into boxers.  The possibility of owning another dog like him was very exciting.

Alley had a litter of 11 and in November, 2003 we drove down to Selah, WA to pick up our "Jazz", BPIG Ch. Jems Bet On This.   We cannot thank Dianna enough for such a sweet, pretty bitch.  Jazz finished easily with the help of her handler Michelle Yeadon, CPHA.

Next came Jewel BPIS Can. Ch. Ringstars Precious Jewel, who finished easily following in her mother's footsteps taking a Best Puppy in Group at her very first show at the age of 6 months. At that very same show she won Best of Winners and Best of Opposite over Specials.  Needless to say we were very pleased.  When she was 11 months old Jewel won Best Puppy in Show!!!!

We are very excited about our latest addition to the family, Chucky (BPISS Can Ch Ringstars Show and Tell) out of Lexie (Can. Ch. Bayview Olympian Kryptonite)  and Hunter (Am/Can. Ch. Pengalli's Seduction).  At the age of 10 months Chucky recently went Best of Breed over Specials, made the cut in the Group ring and then on to win Best Puppy in Specialty Show at the Peach Arch Working/Herding Specialty which is held in conjunction with Canada's Largest Dog Show.  We are proud to say that all of this was accomplished while being owner handled.  Thank you Judge Sergio Pizzorno.  Watch for Chucky with handler Michelle Yeadon, when he makes his US debut at the Western Washington Cluster and then on to Portland, Oregon for the Oregon Boxer Club Specialty and the Rose City Classic in January 2008.
